BMI Writer, Composer, and playwright James V. Cockerham

James V. Cockerham is a BMI Composer and Writer, Playwright and CEO of an Independent record label. On August 11 in Rochester, New York, Mr. Cockerham will be the closing performer for the Gateways Music Festival, performing his original symphonic composition of Lift Every Voice and Sing.

James received his training at Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina, earning a Bachelors degree in Sociology.

40 years later he earned a Masters Certificate in Orchestration for Film and TV from Berklee College of Music in Boston.

James is currently working on his 5th studio album to be released through his independent record label, CoPro Records and available for purchase and streaming on all digital platforms as well as his website: CoProRecords.com.

The Creative Protocol will be handling all media and public relations for James V. Cockerham.

He is managed by ACTS Entertainment Management.
